Dobbie Set To Sign Pre-Contract Agreement

Dobbie Set To Sign Pre-Contract Agreement

According to BBC Sport, striker Stephen Dobbie will sign a pre-contract agreement with Swansea City and looks set to be our first signing in the Summer transfer window.

The Queen of the South forward has caught the eye of at least 9 other clubs who have shown an interest in signing him.

The 26 year-old has scored 24 goals this season in the Scottish First Division, and that includes a 4-goal super show in Queen of the South's recent 7-1 win against Clyde.

BBC mentions QPR, Ipswich Town and Norwich City as the other Championship clubs who are targetting him but they believe he will opt to join the Swans.

Dobbie says he will wait until the end of the season before deciding where his future lies:

'Hopefully, whatever's going to happen will be next week or the week after,'

'We're trying to get to third place and we'll see what happens after that.

'I've had a few offers from up here and down south. I just have to sit down with my agent and see what's happening.'

Would be great to get him on a free, no goals today but he's a goalscorer like Scotland. I trust Martinez and co's judgement.
