Target Dobbie Scores 4 In Rout

Queen of the South striker and Swansea City target Stephen Dobbie continued to impress on the weekend, scoring 4 goals in their 7-1 home win against rock-bottom Clyde.

There have been reports lately that Swansea City are targeting the frontman, who plays in the Scottish First Division, but whether they are true or not remains to be seen.

The 26 year-old increased his season tally to 23 goals and has scored 10 goals in his last 5 games. His career stats are equally as impressive, scoring 62 goals in 109 League starts.

We want to know what your thoughts are on how Martinez should strengthen the squad in the Summer. The Spaniard admits there are weaknesses in the squad, in which positions do we need to strengthen in?

he certainly knows where the goal is thats for sure, could get him very cheap and would be worth the risk?

From the article dated 21 April, & video link, Dobbie is a more mobile and speedier attacker than Scotland. I'm sure we have the players to help him score goals for us.

If Martinez persists in playing 4-5-1 next season, then he must have at least 1 attacking mid-fielder to get up and support the lone striker.

His 4 goals this weekend were very different form the St. Johnston game which he scored two. On recent form could turn out to be a bargain buy, I personally would love to see us sign him, to do it over a few weeks is somethingm his record shows he's been scoring goals for a long time.

The word on Dobbie is that it looks like he could play at a higher level. I have spoken to someone who has seen him regularly, he is the real deal so to speak. Another gem found by El Gaffer perhaps?

I don't know if i'd say if its a gem found by RM, his goalscoring is there for all to see.
