Monk Hopeful That Blades Get Result Tonight

Garry Monk admits he can't bare to watch tonight's match as Burnley face Sheffield United.

Burnley occupy the final play-off place in 6th and will be looking to restore their 4-point gap over the Swans tonight.

Martinez's side cut the gap on Saturday to just 1 point after beating Bristol City 1-0 at the Liberty Stadium, thanks to a goal by Monk - heading home Orlandi's corner.

The skipper told BBC Sport that it's all Burnley's to lose, and the momentum is with the Swans to win their last 2 games:

'I'm one of those who hate watching games like that when there's a lot on it,'

'Monday will be interesting with Sheffield United still going for the top two and Burnley still trying to hang on.

'I'll probably watch or no doubt I'll be flicking over to it, but sometimes it's nice to just hear the result.

'We are hoping Sheffield United do us a favour.'

'It's make or break for them (Burnley).'

'If they win that game, they will go back four points ahead for the last two games.

'It's all theirs to lose,' added Monk. 'We feel momentum is gaining on us and we have nothing to lose.'

and they won 2-0, I think we're out of the running now unless reading/burnley lose both their games.
