Middlesbrough To Bid £2.5m For Scotland?

News of the World today report that Middlesbrough are set to bid £2.5million for striker Jason Scotland.

The Sunday newspaper believes Gareth Southgate is eager to sign the 30 year-old and is willing to bid £2.5million in the Summer - a fee 100 times more than what we paid St Johnstone for his services 2 years ago.

Middlesbrough are currently struggling against relegation from the top flight and they could well join us next season in the Championship. Aged 30, will Scotland only be looking at a move to a Premiership club?
