Swansea Reserves 5-3 Forest Green

Swansea City Reserves won 5-3 this evening against Forest Green thanks to goals from Tom Butler, Chris Jones (2), MAtthew Whatley and Joe Harris.

We went a goal down after 32 minutes as Majeed Waris scored the first of his brace tonight. Butler then equalised to put the scores level at 1-1 as the sides went in at half time.

Matthew Whatley netted and Chris Jones then scored twice to give us a 4-1 lead but Shaze and Warris scored inside of 3 minutes to cut the deficit to 4-3.

Joe Harris then put the game beyond doubt with our 5th goal on 78 minutes.

Line-Ups:

Swansea: David Cornell; Jordan Prosser, Matthew Whatley, Daniel Alfei, Jordan Smith (Sam Rose-Miles, 84'), Kristian O'Leary (C), Adam Orme, Chris Jones, Tom Butler, Guillem Bauza (Kurtis March, 70'), Joe Harris.

Not Used: Gwion Edwards, Rhys Wilson (GK).

Goals: Tom Butler (42'), Chris Jones (49', 63'), Matthew Whatley (56'), Joe Harris (78')

Forest Green: James Nortei, Ben Parry, Alex Duffy, Sam Mensah (Isaac Shaze, 33'), Scott Mason, Callum Henry (Kyle Knott, 65'), Jamie Powell, David Accam, Majeed Waris, Jake Parrott, Michael Trench.

Not Used: Brad Williams.
