'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Mirror Link Scotland With Middlesborough Move

According to today's Mirror newspaper, Premiership side Middlesbrough are poised to make a Summer bid for striker Jason Scotland.

by GThomas
"It's going to take a mid-Premiership club to lure Scotland to moving I reckon."
The tabloid papers have never been famous for being truthful in stories like this but with Scotland's continued goalscoring form, it's inevitable that he will attract some strong bids at the end of the season.

Today's Mirror reads: The Boro chief sent top spy Gordon McQueen to watch Scotland notch his 24th goal of a remarkable Championship campaign at Barnsley on Easter Monday.

Losing our top scorer would be a massive blow to us as he's played a huge role in our success under boss Roberto Martinez.

However the manager and chairman, Huw Jenkins have both said they'll fight 'tooth and nail' to keep their star players.

Jordi Gomez is attracting a lot of attention, with Newcastle and Celtic linked with a move for the on-loan midfielder.

Manchester City have also been reported to be tracking right back Angel Rangel.

you can expect all this speculation crap the way he's been firing the goals in.

Exactly, we'll have to wait until the end of the season to get more solid news of any possible moves, and who really is interested.

Recently on our site, a Reading fan said "I wish we played your style of football". With this in mind, then our players are bound to attract interest, if not directly from clubs, then from their fans "wish list".
