Britton Hails Joe Allen's 'Big Talent'

Leon Britton has praised Joe Allen, comparing him to Arsenal's welsh midfielder Aaron Ramsey.

Allen put in another superb man of the match performance on Saturday as Swansea City beat Norwich City 2-1 at the Liberty Stadium.

He came on a substitute in last week's derby against Cardiff City, and scored a superb goal which deserved to win us the game.

It's a wonder why he isn't in the Welsh squad, after filling in superbly for Ferrie Bodde, who is out for the rest of the season after suffering a knee injury in November 2008.

Leon Britton told Wales Online:

"You can see the similarities between Aaron and Joe,"

"They are both obviously massive talents. I haven`t seen too much of Ramsey but he looks very comfortable on the ball and can pick a pass out. Joe can do that too and they are quite similar in style.

"For a 19-year-old you can see he is a big talent. He is improving in every game.

"That is naturally a big boost for Welsh football. Hopefully they can continue to improve because they are both still very young."

"It was another great performance from Joe.

"He has been brilliant ever since he came into the team against Barnsley back in December. He changed the game that day and, from that game onwards, he has been in superb form.

"Obviously he got the goal against Cardiff last week and then you saw the quality he has got again in this game."
