Trundle Scores Against Swansea City Reserves

Former fans' favourite Lee Trundle scored a penalty against our Reserves side this evening.

The striker grabbed an equaliser for Bristol City Reserves to share the spoils as the game ended 2-2.

All the goals came in the second half as Peter Styvar put Bristol City ahead at Ashton Gate.

We equalised immediately thanks to Daniel Sheehan and we then took the lead through Adam Orme.

Also in the home side was former defender Izzy Iriekpen.

Lee Trundle was brought down in the penalty box with the scores at 2-1, and he got up to convert the penalty past Cornell. The scouser also went close to winning the game for the Robins but his header was palmed onto the bar by the goalkeeper.

Bristol City: Henderson; Edwards, Wilson, Iriekpen, Ball (Kington); Plummer, Williams, Elliott, Stambolziev; Trundle, Styvar (Jackson). Subs not used: Lennox, Livings, Bradley.

Swans line-up coming soon.
