Goalkeeper Dorus De Vries wins the fans' vote for our March Player of the Month vote.
He dominated the votes with 74%, Jason Scotland had 9%, Jordi Gomez 3%, 4 players had just 1% and the remaining 10% went on other players we didn't list in the poll options.
The Dutch shot stopper won it hands down really, and while he gets mixed reviews from the fans, he's worthy of winning the vote having made some superb saves in the last few weeks.
In 6 games played during a busy March, we won just 1 of them, drawing 3 and losing 2. We conceded 7 goals in those 6 games but De Vries made some superb saves in the game, helping us to get draws at Derby and Sheffield Wednesday.
Derby had a host of chances and could have scored for fun on another day, as we were lacklustre in defence. Nigel Clough's side went 2-0 up and while they should have won the game comfortably by a bigger margin, we came back well in the second as Angel Rangel and Gorka Pintado netted to earn us a point.
De Vries was also called upon at Sheffield Wednesday. The Owls had the better chances but again he made some key saves to keep the scores level.
Some fans aren't convinced about De Vries's ability and say we need a better player in between the sticks, but if he maintain his latest form, he's well worthy of the number 1 jersey at the moment.
In our new poll, we want to know how confident you are ahead of our big game against our rivals Cardiff City at Ninian Park on Sunday morning.
Can we get another win against the Bluebirds and remain unbeaten for the season against our rivals?
