Crewe Boss Eyes Lawrence Permanent Stay

Crewe Alexandra boss Gudjon Thordarson says he's considering making Lawrence's loan move permanent in the Summer transfer window.

The defender was a regular at the back in our League One title-winning season last year but he hasn't been in Martinez's first team plans this season.

The Trinidad and Tobago player will spend the whole season at Crewe and is highly likely to move on in the Summer, and the League One club will be hoping to come to an agreement over a move for Dennis Lawrence in the Summer.

Gudjon Thordarson told Crewe's official website:

'We have liked having Dennis here with us and I am sure he has enjoyed himself too.

'He is good in the dressing room and out on the pitch and his future has been spoken about.

'It is something we will consider in the summer when he is out of contract. I have discussed it with the board and we will have to wait and see.'
