1% Predicted A Defeat Today

1% Predicted A Defeat Today

In a recent site poll, only 1% voted we'd lose at home today against Crystal Palace.

The fans seemed confident of a second home win in the space of 5 days today as 77% voted we'd win, while 22% thought we'd get a draw.

Martinez's side simply weren't at the races today. We struggled to get our passing game going, and looked vulnerable at the back, making far too many errors to give Palace their goals.

Warnock's side opened the scoring early in the second half and Forte added a second 14 minutes later.

Substitute Gorka Pintado grabbed a goal back to give us hope of getting a point but Kuqi wrapped up the points in injury time to give the Eagles a 3-1 win.

The confidence seems to have drained out of the fans now as in our new 70% believe we won't make the play-offs this year.

Can we still finish in the top 6 despite today's 3-1 loss? Vote in our site poll on the right hand side.

I never go to a home game this season thinking we'll lose.

I voted for a loss although I hoped to be wrong. I based this after watching the Argyle game. I thought that if Warnock had done his homework, he would have detected our weakness in the centre of defence. Top marks for his homework.
