'If It's Football, It's Vital'
Martinez Aims To Go Unbeaten
Roberto Martinez is aiming for his side to go unbeaten for the remainder of the season and he believes that'll be enough to reach the play-offs.
No team at the top is experiencing promotion form at the moment and with 27 points available, 20 should see us in the top 6 in May. 6 wins and 3 draws I think is a decent target to aim for.
To reach that, the Swans must get a win today at home to Crystal Palace, who lost 4-2 on Wednesday to our play-off rivals Burnley.
Martinez said:
'It's very tight and whoever can be consistent will finish in the top six,'
'But remaining unbeaten for nine games would be enough for us to finish in the play-offs.
'There will be different types of games. There are teams directly involved in the play-offs with us, teams in mid-table and teams in the middle of a relegation battle.
'There are three teams going for the top two spots - and we're one of six chasing the next three play-off places.
'We are in a very good moment right now and I'm very excited about it.'
