Roberto Martinez says he won't be disappointment if his side fail to reach the play-offs this season.
The Swans boss along with the players all have dreams of playing in the Premier League and they'll a chance of living them if finish in the top 6 this year. It's a tough ask as at the moment we're struggling to convert draws into wins, picking up only 3 points in the last 3 games.
We now have 2 home games coming up and we have to be looking at taking 6 points if we want to play a few more extra games in May.
Martinez told BBC Sport that he wouldn't be disappointed if we finished outside of the top 6. After all, our aim for the season was to avoid relegation.
'No, because 10 months ago we were playing League One football and we've come a long way.
'I feel the squad is stronger now than it was in July. We have learned a lot from our experience.
'Obviously we want to get into the Premier League one day, but we want to be going in a position where we can handle it and we can stay there.
'To do that you need to be good enough and probably if we don't get enough points to get into the play-offs it's because we don't deserve to do that.
'So I wouldn't be disappointed. We will get stronger and better for the season after.'
Martinez said we need a minimum of 22 points in the last 11 games, or make that 21 in 10 following yesterday's game.
At the moment, no team in the top 9, apart from, dare I say it, our rivals Cardiff City, are experiencing promotion form as yet again, more of our play-off rivals dropped points yesterday.
Bristol City lost at Derby 2-1 and Preston also lost 2-1 at Crystal Palace - our opponents next Saturday.
