Swansea City boss Roberto Martinez has praised his side's attitude and nerve ahead of tonight's match at Derby County.
His side struggled on Saturday to put their chances away as we were one of 8 of the top 10 teams to drop points on the weekend. We were held 1-1 at home by bottom club Charlton Athletic, but Martinez told the Western Mail, his squad are showing no nerves:
'I don't see any nerves at all,'
'I have seen a maturity in our play that is hard to explain sometimes.
'I've been delighted at how we can be that mature even with the pressure of getting into the playoffs. The attitude has been great and we have a group of players that are very arrogant in the right way.
'They know what they are good at and they set such high standards that they want to maintain them. I have been very surprised and delighted with the way the boys have approached getting into the play-offs.
'That is the realistic target for this team and we don't want to hide from it. We love the pressure and to be in the frame for a top six finish is a huge achievement already.'
Martinez has installed belief and a winning mentality amongst his squad, as all the players expect a top performance every game and maximum points.
Saturday was one of the rare moments in which we saw a drop in standards in our performance, but hopefully we'll regain them tonight at Derby.
