Monk Targets Plymouth Return

Swansea City skipper Garry Monk is targeting the Plymouth game in a week's time to make a return from his back injury.

The defender was back in the line-up on Saturday but suffered a re-occurrence of the injury and came off after just 27 minutes.

He'll miss another 2 games, Derby County away tomorrow night and Saturday's trip to Nottingham Forest.

Martinez is hopeful he'll be available again on Tuesday 10th March when we host Plymouth Argyle, he told the Official Site:

'He came off more as a precaution,'

'It just didn't feel right with him.

'We don't feel there is anything serious there and he's feeling a lot better today. He probably needs a bit longer to recover and the Plymouth game is his next target.'
