Southampton loanee Nathan Dyer said he was not happy to miss a golden chance to win yesterday's home match against Charlton.
The right winger opened the scoring for us on 42 minutes, showing great composure to finish after an excellent pass from Guillem Bauza.
We struggled to convert chances though and we were punished 10 minutes into the second half as Bailey's long range effort took a wicked deflection off Alan Tate.
We dominated against the bottom side but we missed a host of chances late on to win us the game and gain us 2 extra points which would have seen go up into the play-off places.
Gomez missed two great chances and Dyer also had a golden chance from close range but he somehow failed to hit the target.
Dyer told BBC Sport:
'If we believe in ourselves and keep working hard for each other it will happen,'
'When we go 1-0 up like that we need to be more solid and keep the ball and be compact.'
'We battled well, played really well - it's just unfortunate we didn't get the win,'
'I had a chance later on in the match and didn't really connect with it well, which I'm not happy about.
'It was a good performance from the lads and we can look forward to Tuesday and crack on from there.
'We were hearing some of the results in the changing rooms and it was two points that we dropped, but we are not down-hearted at all. We still want to crack on.
'They've [Derby] had some good results of late, but we'll just go there and play our football and show them what Swansea City's about.'
So far, Dyer has a 6.3 rating in our Player Ratings feature. Click here to rate the players' performances in yesterday's 1-1 draw against Charlton Athletic.
