Swansea City welcomed back midfielder Darren Pratley following his shoulder injury after coming on as a late substitute in yesterday's 1-1 draw at home to Charlton.
The former Fulham player was expected to be on the sidelines for 10 weeks, and was due to return to action in mid-April.
Instead, he's made a quick recovery and it's a huge boost for us as we were beginning to look low on numbers in the centre of midfield.
Joe Allen is out for 2-3 weeks which meant striker Guillem Bauza came in to replace him for the last 2 games.
Shaun MacDonald was also recalled from his loan spell at Yeovil Town.
Pratley praised his team-mates, and told Wales Online they've done a fine job since the injuries to himself and fellow midfielder Ferrie Bodde.
"We have been hard hit with injuries. We have lost a few who play quite regularly, but the lads who have come in have done just as well,"
"To be honest, I`m not sure that any of us have been really missed.
"They have won without us.
"Obviously, we would like to be in the side, but they haven`t struggled without us.
"The lads are winning games and have been playing well. They played Fulham off the park. It shows everyone is replaceable.
Pratley's injury couldn't have come at a worse time for the 22 year-old, as he missed his international debut for Jamaica as well as playing against his former club Fulham twice in the FA Cup 5th round.
He added: "It is hard to miss any game,"
"Missing the FA Cup against Fulham was hard and I also got called up to Jamaica, so I missed that game as well.
"It was really disappointing, but I`ve accepted it now and I`ve just got to get myself back to full match fitness.
"For me, international football is the next step up and it is one I want to take.
"If I can get back playing now I hope I can be in contention next time for Jamaica."
