Parkinson: It Was A Great Show From Us

Charlton boss Phil Parkinson praised his players following their 1-1 draw today at the Liberty Stadium.

After scoring an early equaliser to cancel out Dyer's opener, the Addicks then had a great chance to take the lead following an error from Albert Serran, but de Vries made a superb save to keep the scores level.

Parkinson told Sky Sports:

'It was a great show from the players and after we equalised we even went looking for the winner,'

'This team has shown signs that they are capable of going on a run and will have to keep this level of performance up.

'We have good players and have now gone three games unbeaten and the players are now beginning to show a belief in themselves.

'We probably need at least 50 points for safety but we will take each match as it comes and see where that takes us.'

i thought charlton were the worst side we've played this season. and yet we could only score 1 goal against them, not good enough.
