Monk 50-50 To Return On Saturday

Skipper Garry Monk is back in training and rated 50-50 to play on Saturday at home to Charlton Athletic.

The defender has missed the last 2 games with a back injury and Albert Serran has come in to replace him in the games against Doncaster and Fulham.

His fitness will be assessed before kick off to see what involvement he can have in the game.

The club has also confirmed that Joe Allen is in fact sidelined for 3-4 weeks with a thigh strain.

In other injury news, Gorka Pintado is targeting a return for the Derby game next Tuesday after under-going a hernia operation in Germany.
