Davies: Replay Will Be A Different Game
Fulham and Welsh international midfielder Simon Davies says tomorrow's FA Cup replay against Swansea City will be a different game to the first tie.
Davies said he was frustrated with the first game at the Liberty Stadium as he didn't have much of the ball and was 'chasing shadows' for most of the 90 minutes.
The 29 year-old is hoping that it'll be a lot different tomorrow night, as we compete in a replay for a Quarter-Final home tie against Manchester United.
From a Swansea's point of view, we really should be thinking about a tie with the Premiership title holders as we completely dominated the game against Hodgson's side.
We failed to put away some easy chances as Jason Scotland's equaliser cancelled out Monk's own goal on the stroke of half time.
Davies told Fulham's official site:
| "It will be a very different game for us,"|
"We`ll have the home crowd behind us, we`ll be on the front foot a bit more and hopefully we can test them out. I think that was the most disappointing thing from the first match, we didn`t really get at them and put their back four to the test.
"If we can do that with the players we`ve got going forward, we`ll be able to create chances so we`re looking forward to the game on Tuesday night.
"It was frustrating for me last Saturday. We were looking to go there and do well but ended up getting a doing. But we`re looking to put that right."
