Scotland Wins Vital's January Player Of The Month

Swansea City striker and top scorer Jason Scotland has won Vital Swansea's player of the month poll for January.

He played in all 5 games last month, and scored 5 goals, including a brace in the 2-0 away win at Burnley.

The 29 year-old, who's 30 in 11 days time, started the season quite slowly in the Championship but has now hit form superbly, scoring 9 in the last 10 games.

He picked up 44% of the vote, with Alan Tate second (23%) and new loan signing Nathan Dyer (10%) third.

Also picking up the rest of the votes were Jordi Gomez, Joe Allen, Darren Pratley, Leon Britton and Ashley Williams.

Our new poll asks who you think is our best option for the left wing place. Is Mark Gower performing well enough in your opinion? Or does Andrea Orlandi deserve his chance?
