Transfer Deadline Day - Duo To Sign?

Swansea City are hoping to complete the permanent signings of loanees Dimi Konstantopoulos and Nathan Dyer on transfer deadline day.

BBC Sport believe Konstantopoulos is set to sign while the Swans are set to make a 500,000 bid for Dyer.

Like it's been with all of our signings with Martinez as manager, chairman Huw Jenkins says the club will not be held to ransom and he told the Evening Post:

'I don't like being pushed into a corner.

'And the fact that the transfer window about to close means there is not much room for negotiation.

'You don't want to be in a position where there's a gun held to your head and I can tell you that if a deal is not right for Swansea City, it will not happen.'

While Southampton boss Mark Wotte said he wants to see Dyer stay at the club, it'll be the board who decide whether or not they accept a bid. The Saints are currently struggling financially and a bid of 500,000 rising to 750,000 would help aid their debts.

Vital Swansea will post up more news on the 2 signings as soon as we can.
