Pratley Ruled Out For 10 Weeks

Swansea City have been dealt a massive blow with the news that Darren Pratley will miss up to 10 weeks with a shoulder injury.

The energetic midfielder has damaged his shoulder joint and will require surgery to correct the problem, and the club has revealed his recovery time could take anything up to 10 weeks.

Swansea physio Richie Evans told the club's official site:

'We are waiting to see the shoulder consultant at the hospital later today,' said Swans physio Richie Evans.

'He will have to have surgery and we expect him to be out for up to 10 weeks.'

The injury is a massive blow to both the team and the player, who joins Marcos Painter and Ferrie Bodde in the treatment room.

Meanwhile, Angel Rangel will miss Tuesday night's game with QPR after picking up his fifth yellow card against Preston.
