Pratley Facing 6-8 Weeks Out

Pratley Facing 6-8 Weeks Out

Darren Pratley is the latest name to be added to the Swansea City casualty list after injuring his shoulder against Preston.

The Swans recorded an impressive 4-1 victory to keep the push for the play-offs firmly on track, but now look set to be without the dynamic midfielde for up to two months.

Swansea manager Roberto Martinez explained the situation to BBC Sport:

'We think it's the joint, but we need to get the X-rays from the hospital.'

'We've lost players in the past... We knew we had to have a squad capable of dealing with those situations.'

Swansea fans will be hoping the injury is not as bad as initially feared, as Pratley has been the driving force at the heart of an impressive midfield.

We still look good though with britton, allen and gomez in the middle and dyer and gower as our wingers. big shame for him though as he'll miss the fa cup.

yes, but they won't be able to see the rest of the season out without picking up a couple of knocks and bookings
