Tudur-Jones Wants Loan Opportunity

Swansea City midfielder Owain Tudur-Jones has admitted he feels he needs to go out on loan for the good of his career.

The Bangor born man has found himself low down in the pecking order for a start in a Swans midfield that has been the main reason behind the clubs success.

And Tudur-Jones believes a loan move away from the Liberty is in his best interests. He told the Evening Post:

'I feel as if I have to go out on loan,' he said.

'I need a run of games. I've got to look at the situation with Wales.'

'I thought I had a chance of getting into the team.'

'I'm disappointed I did not play (against Reading) but I'm really happy that the boys won and the manner of their performance as it moved us closer to the play-off positions.'

'I have to balance the success of the team with my own personal situation. So going out on loan is something I must consider.'

Meanwhile, the club have had a request for more tickets for Saturday's FA Cup tie with Portsmouth rejected by the south coast club. The initial allocation sold out on Saturday.
