Dyer's Loving It At Swansea City

New loan signing Nathan Dyer says he's loving it at Swansea City after making his full debut on Saturday in the 2-0 win against Reading.

He produced a man of the match performance on the right wing and caused Coppell's side problems throughout the 90 minutes.

Dyer was hugely impressed with the squad, and hailed the spirit within the dressing room, he told the Evening Post:

'This squad's phenomenal. They've got no individuals, they're a complete team. They play for each other, they work together and there's just a great spirit in the dressing room. I love it.'

'I'm just happy with the team performance. I said this was a quality side and we showed it today. We played really well, there was a togetherness and we got the goals we deserved,'

'The philosophy is to keep the ball, keep possession and get it out to the wingers so you can isolate the defenders one on one. The wingers can get at them, get crosses in and it seemed to work today.'

'I really like it,'

'Everyone's been so friendly to me since I've come here. The first day or two I was here the boys really welcomed me and it's been really nice. I feel good and I feel part of the team.

Martinez was also delighted with his performance and said:

'He was ready for his full debut. He arrived from a different set-up and it took him a little time to adapt,'

'He showed he's a player that's exciting to watch, he has great pace and unpredictability to go with it.

'He gives us a different dimension and I just hope he enjoys his football with us.'

I was at Histon in the cup when Dyer came on. He's about as tall as Britton but just as effective, and he has great pace. I think he'll mature as a player with us, and hopefully we'll be able to sort out some sort of deal for him!!
