James: Swansea Won't Be An Easy Game

Portsmouth goalkeeper David James says their FA Cup 4th round match against the Swans at home won't be an easy game.

The shot stopper, along with the rest of the Portsmouth squad, have already experienced difficulty against Championship opposition in the FA Cup this season. They beat Bristol City 2-0 in a replay this week.

Crouch handballed twice before giving Pompey a one-goal lead before Kranjcar added a second with 2 minutes remaining. The first game at Fratton Park ended in a 0-0 stalemate.

Providing we can match Bristol City's efforts against Tony Adams' side at home, we should give the cup holders a good game and an upset is definitely possible for us.

David James is expecting another tough game against another Championship side:

"It was proven in the run we had last season and the two matches we have had against Bristol City already that Swansea will not be an easy game for us.

"It`s the FA Cup isn`t it and without repeating too many cliches it is an opportunity for fairy-tales to come true.

"Last season, apart from Manchester United, every game we had was against Championship opposition and every game we had was literally just a one goal victory so we are not expecting it to be any different this time around.

"We know Swansea will not be an easy game for us at all.

"It should be a good game though."

More than 3,000 tickets are available to Swansea fans for the trip South. The match will be played on the 24th January.

Do you think the Swans can cause an FA Cup upset in the 4th round at Portsmouth?
