Another Swipe At Swansea From Histon
Histon FC manager Steve Fallon has had a swipe at Swansea City ahead of tomorrow night's re-scheduled FA Cup third round clash.
After the match was postponed 10 days ago, the Histon chairman, Gareth Baldwin accused Swansea City staff of doing all they could to force the referee into postponing the game.
Swansea City physio Richard Evans and assistant manager Graeme Jones have both defended themselves following Baldwin's claims, rubbishing them as completely untrue.
Histon manager Fallon has now said both Evans and Jones are not being honest about the situation, and they ''should be big enough to admit they didn't want to play it and stop trying to hide behind everything else.''
|'They definitely were in the wrong if they're honest with themselves — they didn't want to play the game.|
'They're quite within their rights not to want to play a game if they think the pitch is unfit.
'It's probably done them one or two favours more than us because it's rattled them a bit and they'll come here and not pose and strut about, which we'd have liked them to have done for the first 10 or 15 minutes.
'I think they'll want to stamp their authority on the game and show that they're here to stand up to anything we might throw at them.
'But they shouldn't have anything to worry about because, if you look at our disciplinary record, we don't go around kicking people.'
