Jackett Hoping To Extend Lowe's Stay

Kenny Jackett is hoping to extend Keith Lowe's loan stay until the end of the season.

Jackett's first attempts to bring the centre back in from Wolves failed as the manager Glenn Hoddle had injury problems at the time.

The loan was initially agreed to be just a month which will end after the Port Vale game on April 8th.

Jackett has been impressed by his contribution to the side so far and said:

''I have been very pleased with what Keith has given us in the two games he has played,''

''His loan ends after the Port Vale game on April 8, but if I can I will extend that until the end of the season.''

Providing injury problems at the Molineux aren't that bad, Jackett will be optimistic of Wolves agreeing to extend his stay.

He added: ''At the moment, Wolves only want it to be for a month,''

''They are waiting on players at their end so we'll just have to wait and see.''

Despite the loan deadline being tomorrow, deals already in place can be extended at any time.

Meanwhile, Jackett has hinted that Robinson could soon earn himself a contract extention.

However, at the moment, he says there are more important things to think about including 2 cup finals and the promotion race.

Jackett said: 'Andy's situation is something we'll have to think about in the summer.

''At the moment there are more pressing things to think about than players' contracts, namely two finals and a promotion race.

''For the moment the chairman and I will be concentrating on the club being successful, but Andy's contract is something we'll have to look at.''

This would be a good move to make sure we have defensive cover for the crucial run in.

I hope all is ok at Wolves as it's all good KJ saying it but Wolves have injury concerns so lets hope they have cleared up and they will allow him to stay on until the end of the season .
