'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Tudur-Jones Considering Swans Future

Owain Tudur-Jones is set for talks with manager Roberto Martinez after the midfielder was linked with a move away from the club.

The Welsh international is believed to be the target for Bristol City, Southampton, Charlton, Nottingham Forest, Millwall, Leicester and Milton Keynes Dons in the current transfer window.

Tudur-Jones came into the side after Ferrie Bodde's injury, but failed to really prove himself ready for Championship football.

And with the man from Bangor on the radar of other clubs, Tudur-Jones has admitted his future may lie away from South Wales.

He told the Evening Post:

'It is just speculation at the moment,' he confirmed. 'I will have a chat with the gaffer in the next few days and see what our plans are for the future.'

'We'd have to look at whether it is better for me to go and get some football somewhere else or stay at Swansea and fight for my place here.'

'Everything in Swansea is perfect for me. I have my family, girlfriend and house down here.'

'But the big factor is about playing every Saturday. It is frustrating not playing but it is just the way it has been going for me.'

'If someone comes in then we will have to look at it.'

'It is not something that is on my mind when we are training and working towards the next game.'

'I want to play for Swansea City and be a success here.'

can't see him getting in the side anytime soon, not with the likes of pratley, bodde, britton and gomez here. i cant see why all those clubs would be interested, when has he impressed them?
