Swansea City Linked With Carlisle Striker

Swansea City have been linked with Carlisle United hotshot Danny Graham.

BBC Sport believe that a number of clubs are interested in signing the 23 year-old, who has scored 13 goals for the Cumbrians this season.

Preston, Barnsley, and Dundee United are other clubs reported to be keen on signing him.

It seems highly unlikely though that Martinez will show a keen interest, especially as Huddersfield have had a £250,000 bid rejected.

Despite the Swansea boss recently saying his January transfer window shopping is complete, he may be on the lookout for a striker. Most fans will be hoping he is as Pintado is out for a fortnight and Brandy's loan from Manchester United expires next week. This leaves us with just Jason Scotland and Guillem Bauza as our other available forwards.

Recent loan signing Nathan Dyer also revealed recently that Martinez could be using him as a second striker during his temporary stay at the Liberty Stadium.

Can't see this one happening at all. Huddersfield have had £250,000 rejected for him and Martinez has said he doesn't have funds to spend on players.

that sort of money is nothing in this league, and if we cannot afford that, then we might as well forget about being anything else than an average champ team

sounds like its going to take double that or more to persuade carlisle to sell though
