Tudur-Jones: Good Cup Draw Waiting For Us

Tudur-Jones: Good Cup Draw Waiting For Us

Midfielder Owain Tudur-Jones says there is a good 4th round FA Cup draw waiting for them if they beat Histon.

Swansea City's 3rd round tie is still yet to be played (Tuesday 13th January) as the game was postponed on Saturday due to the freezing weather conditions.

If we beat Blue Square Premier side Histon, we'll face either Portsmouth or Bristol City away.

Tudur-Jones told BBC Sport:

'Either way it is a good draw for us,'

'The possibility of playing the cup holders or a fairly local derby in the next round is one to look forward to.'

'I think we can be pretty pleased if we manage to get past Histon, as there's a good draw waiting for us,'

'It would have been preferable to have a home draw but who better to have than the current holders of the FA Cup.

'Either way it promises to be a pretty fierce game in an old fashioned-style stadium that is made for FA Cup occasions that would be rocking.

'That will be something to look forward to if we get past Histon and that is our main focus now as if we don't beat them, we won't be playing any of them.'

Tudur-Jones will be hoping to have a first team chance in the FA Cup after struggling to get in the line-up in the League.

Roberto Martinez is likely to make changes in the cup competition and the likes of Orlandi, MacDonald and Tudur-Jones could have their chances to impress.
