No More January Signings For Swansea City

No More January Signings For Swansea City

Swansea City boss Roberto Martinez says his January shopping his complete after signing Southampton winger Nathan Dyer on loan.

The Spaniard did mention a winger was at the top of his wanted list and he was also looking to add a striker to his squad this month.

However, Martinez told the Western Mail there won't be any more signings:

'No, the shopping is done now. All I want is to get everyone else fit and available."

Martinez's forward options are quite limited at the moment. It's unknown as to how long Brandy will be staying with us on loan and Pintado is sidelined for 2 weeks as he has a hernia operation. That leaves us with Jason Scotland and Guillem Bauza as the other strikers available.
