Tudur-Jones Close To Return

Tudur-Jones Close To Return

Owain Tudur-Jones says that if he's required to play on Saturday, he's confident he'll be ok.

The tall defensive midfielder has been injured for more than 3 months since New Years Eve and Jackett is unlikely to use him for the next few weeks as he won't want to risk any further injury setback.

He said: 'With the type of injury I've had, there are going to be a few aches and pains over the next couple of weeks.

'If the gaffer needs me this weekend, though, I'm confident I'll be okay.'

Kevin Austin is expected to be fit for Saturday's trip to Gillingham and Akinfenwa should be available despite missing training yesterday with a slight hamstring problem.
