Villa Loan Defender Out For The Season

Aston Villa loanee Stephen O'Halloran will miss the rest of the season after suffering a knee injury during Saturday's game against Sheffield United.

He joins fellow full back Marcos Painter and Ferrie Bodde on the list of players who won't kick a ball for the rest of the season.

A scan revealed he requires an operation to repair damaged cruciate ligaments.

His injury sees an early end to his temporary stay at the Liberty Stadium and gives Alan Tate a perfect opportunity to get a decent run in the first team.
