Sheff Wed Interested In McLeod

Championship side Sheffield Wednesday are reportedly showed an interest in transfer listed left winger Kevin McLeod.

Since Jackett placed him on the transfer list last week, 5 clubs in total have made enquiries including Doncaster and Chester.

Jackett has hinted that he still has a future with the Swans but he must prove his worth to the club and said:

''He is talking to me about sorting his life out, although it's not as if he has a bad home. He has a very nice young lady and a little 'un as well.

''It's about sorting his application out and that's down to him.

''He says he wants to stay at Swansea and that he values it very much. He admits he has been inconsistent this year, particularly after the storming start he had, and he has identified what he needs to do to get back to his best.

''But what Kevin says is all well and good. Actions speak louder than words and I have said to him that under the present circumstances, I do not accept what he is doing for me.''

Jackett's former colleague, Ian Holloway told the News of The World that he was right to place him on the transfer list but admitted he had no trouble with McLeod whilst he managed him at QPR.

He said: ''You shouldn't go out clubbing before a match -even if you are injured. Kevin should know that. There's no excuse for him.''

that'll be a good club for him to move to should get a lot of footy there and if he does go we could be playing him next season then

Plenty of clubs are looking at him so doesn't that say anything to KJ , he's worth another chance and if he can't improve his fitness then bye bye in a few weeks .
JACK_THE_LAD
its not as simple as that unfortunatley, its his attitude which stinks, weve ahd this attitude sicne flynn was here and hopefully this will stamp it out robinson is similar, but he performs well enough for me, although he could improve a little more

I dont understand why Shef Wens want him he cannot perform at this level at the moment let alone at the Championship level.
