Bodde: I'm Focussed on Swansea
Ferrie Bodde's decisive goal at Norwich yesterday may have just bumped up his price tag, but he insists his only concern is Swansea City.
The Dutchman has drawn Premiership scouts to the Liberty in unprecedented numbers, and the Swansea board is preparing for a barrage of offers in January.
But the man labelled the 'Dutch Roy Keane' when joining from ADO Den Haag in 2007 assures the club's fans the speculation won't affect him.
Speaking to BBC Sport after the Norwich game, Bodde revealed:
'I don't let the talk off the pitch affect my football, I'm focused on Swansea.'
'I'm enjoying my time here and we're playing well as a team.'
'It was difficult for us at Norwich but in our win over Watford last week we played like a Premier League team.'
'We won't take any notice of the league table yet.
'Every week we're in a different position, we'll only start looking at the table in March when the division is really starting to shape up.'
'We've a good team and I'm proud that we got a result at Norwich.'
Bodde will be looking to continue his impressive form when Birmingham visit the Liberty on Friday night.
