Brandy Pleased With His Cup Performance

On loan Manchester United striker Fabian Brandy was pleased with his performance in last night's cup defeat.

The Swans faced Watford for a second time in 3 days but Martinez's side, which included 8 changes, struggled to repeat Sunday's 3-1 win over the Hornets in the League.

Yesterday was the strikers only second start in the Cup this year and although he admits his second loan spell at Swansea City has been frustrating, he hopes his performance last night will see him get more first team opportunities, he told the Evening Post:

'Obviously I'd have been happier if I'd got a goal and the team had got a win, but I thought I did well on Tuesday to be honest,'

'It has been a frustrating spell for me. I came here to play first-team football but, with the quality of players we've got, it's hard to break in.

'Hopefully I will get another chance soon, though.

'I'm not going to say I definitely will because I don't know what's going through the gaffer's head and I'm not going to tell him how to do his job.

'But obviously I'm hoping for another chance to show what I can do.'

Brandy's loan expires in January 2009? Should Swansea City try and extend his stay with us?
