Brandy Craves A Chance To Impress
Manchester United youngster Febian Brandy has spoken of his frustration at his lack of game time in his second spell at the Liberty Stadium.
The 19 year old played an important role in Swansea`s League One title winning run in, doing enough to persuade Roberto Martinez to take him on loan for a further six months.
However, Brandy has spent most of his time on the sidelines and has just a solitary Carling Cup goal against Brentford to his name this campaign. It is a statistic he is eager to improve on in the time he has left in South Wales.
Brandy told the Evening Post:
'I have been involved in every game, but, to be honest, I haven't really played as much as I wanted to. When I came back to Swansea I thought I might be involved in a few more games.
'That's the reason why I came on loan — to gain some first-team experience so that, hopefully, I could go back to United and break into the first team there. But things haven't really gone in my favour and it's been a bit frustrating.'
'I am young and eager to get going and I want to show people what I can do,'
'But I'm not the type to start moaning or asking why the gaffer's doing this or that because that's not going to get you anywhere.
'At the end of the day the gaffer knows what he's doing and I've just got to keep working hard.'
Brandy`s loan deal runs out in January and it remains to be seen if he will remain a Swansea City player beyond that point.
