Chester Make Move for McLeod

Chester City have approached the Swans about taking transfer-listed left winger Kevin McLeod on loan.

Kenny Jackett placed the former QPR and Everton midfielder on the transfer list this week for ''a number of things'' which included a ''lack of application''.

Chester Manager Mark Wright is hoping to sign 2 players on loan, the other one being Manchester City teenager Ishmael Miller.

He said: "We are aware of the availability of Kevin McLeod and we would be keen to bring him in, an approach has been made so we will just have to wait for developments,"

McLeod will see the chairman and the manager tomorrow and he said he will apologise to them as he hopes to stay with the Swans and to ''help get the club into the Championship.''

It's hard to say at this stage whether he's played his last game for us or not, but he was given a chance last summer to improve his fitness and get back into shape, Jackett will know if he's done similar things in the past at former club QPR so can we really afford to give him another chance?

He certainly has the ability but as Jackett said, he must provide 100% effort and application and if he doesn't, and he hasn't for a few months now, then he's not much use to us.

i think its good hes on the transfer list, shows jackett wont take any muckign about from anyone. he certainly has doen that he expects sympathy! hes dug his hole and by playing so crap for nigh on 6 months, hes jumped into it and i think he'll find it difficult to get out of.

Did we have Macca on a free as i'm sure he's worth money to another club , a loan is just what he might need to sort him out . And stop the text chat as it's so annoying .
