Krysiak Relishing Chance To Impress

Krysiak Relishing Chance To Impress

On Loan Birmingham goalkeeper Artur Krysiak has admitted that he is nervous ahead of tomorrow's game against Southampton but is relishing the prospect of playing on such a big stage.

From plying his trade in the Blue Square premier leauge with York City and now defunct SPL side Gretna so far this season another chapter in development of the young 19 year old Poles career will open on Saturday; As he fills in for the injured Dorus De Vries against a Southampton side struggling at the bottom half of the table.

Swans boss Roberto Martinez has indicated his desire to bring in an experienced shot-stopper on loan by tomorrow's game against the Saints but looks set to hand the youngster his Championship and Swansea debut.

Krysiak Told The SWEP:

'I'm really nervous because for me it's a big challenge.I'm nervous because it's a big game, but I think that's normal if you are 19 years old.I'm very sad for Dorus because it was a very bad challenge and I think the player should have left the ball.'

'But if I get a chance this weekend I will give 100 per cent and try to keep a clean sheet for the team.I am 100 per cent fit now.I could maybe have done with a few more training sessions.I hope to get a chance against Southampton because it would be a great experience for me. I have never played in front of such a big crowd.'
