Pratley: Out To Maintain Unbeaten Home Form

Swansea City midfielder Darren Pratley's has reveled his burning ambition of ensuring the clubs unbeaten home record continues starting with the visit of a struggling Southampton outfit on Saturday.

Wisdom would have dictated that Roberto Martinez's side would struggle to hold their own at the start of the season with the wealth of riches some clubs posses in the second tier of the British game but with an unbeaten record at the Liberty Stadium to maintain Pratley is insistent that he and his colleges will be out to make sure that record his upheld.

Looking back at the dominance that Swansea imposed on QPR on Tuesday the former Fulham player feels there is nothing to fear from teams in the Championship and has warned teams who visit the Liberty Stadium that they will have to perform at their absolute best to come away with points.

Pratley Told The SWEP:

'When you start the season you always say to yourselves that you want a strong home record..We have not lost a game so far and we're looking to keep that going for as long as possible. As players we all understand the way we play and I think the formation we play suits the players we've got. We've made the Liberty a hard place to come with the tempo we play and our style.Whoever comes here now is going to have to sweat blood to get a result.'
"When one of the favourites to get promoted come here and do that, it just shows how far we've come. And the fact that Alan Tate didn't have a save to make after he went in goal tells you the story of the game.We dominated pretty much from start to finish and the disappointment for us was that we didn't take all three points. They are another big club with a lot of young players who, like us, are full of enthusiasm. It's going to be another difficult test for us."
