MacDonald Gets Professional Contract

MacDonald Gets Professional Contract

17 year old midfielder Shaun MacDonald has deservedly earned himself a professional contract with the Swans.

The Welsh under-21 international has impressed whennever he's appeared in a Swansea shirt, whether as a sub in a league game or starting in the LDV and FAW Premier Cup competitions.

He said: 'I'm delighted because Swansea is the only club I've ever wanted to play for since I was in school,''

''It wasn't so long ago that I was watching them play with my mates on the North Bank.

''The gaffer (Kenny Jackett) hinted a few weeks ago that I would be getting a professional contract, but when he confirmed the deal it was a dream come true. I'll be eternally grateful to him for giving me the chance and now it's up to me to repay that faith.''
