Martinez: Praises Swansea New Boy Krysiak

Swansea City manager Roberto Martinez believes that his new signing Artur Krysiak will have a great future in the full senior Polish side and has heaped praise on his new charge.

Krysiak started his career at his hometown club UKS SMS Łódź in the clubs youth side in 2004, when a move to Britain beaconed. Birmingham City snapped the youngster up but subsequently loaned him out to now defunct Scottish club Gretna in the sides first and only season in the SPL.

Finding his opportunities limited the 6ft plus keeper found himself third choice at St Andrews behind Maik Taylor and Irishman Colin Doyle. Subsequently this season the Pole was loaned out once again this time to York City who play in the Blue Square Premier but his spell at Kit Kat crescent was cut short after the shot stopper sustained a dislocation to his finger.

Martinez spoke on the Official site:

''We have been following Artur's progress for some time now.He is mature well beyond his 19 years and I am convinced he is a future Polish international at senior level. From what we've seen of him already, he will provide added competition for Dorus (de Vries) and we are all excited about him joining us.'

Vital Swansea will be running as usual a match updates service for all those jacks not able to get to the game or watch it on sky sports.
