Britton: We Struggled From Start To Finish

Swansea City midfielder Leon Britton said the performance from the side today didn't warrant anything but a defeat away at Crystal Palace.

He told the official site about the disappointment within the dressing room following their poor performance at Selhurst Park, Britton said:

'Obviously everyone in the dressing room is disappointed,''

'We didn't play well at all and we can't have too many complaints about the result.

'If you look back at the Charlton game; although we lost, we came out saying we played well and deserved to lose. We couldn't say that today.

'It's hard to put your finger on what went wrong today, but we just weren't at the races. We never got our passing game together and we struggled from start to finish.''

'Obviously we are down, you are bound to be after a defeat like that, but you can't get too down. We've got to pick ourselves up and bounce back with a performance good enough to earn us victory over Derby on Tuesday.''

Martinez and his side will be looking to bounce back on Tuesday night with a win at home to Derby County.
