Martinez Predicts Tough Palace Test

Swansea City manager Roberto Martinez has predicted a tough test away to Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park tomorrow afternoon.

The international break has provided Neil Warnock's side the chance to regroup following a poor start to the season that has seen the Eagles pick up only 2 points. However Martinez is wary of the challenges posed by the promotion candidates and has highlighted the level of respect between himself and the former Sheffield United boss.

That good rapport however will have to be put on hold for 90 or so minutes as Swansea look to build upon the good start to the season that has seen The Liberty Stadium club win over a new sway of admires.

Martinez told The SWEP:

"It's great to face a character like Neil Warnock. He has seen and done everything at this level and I'm sure our fans will enjoy the occasion.I've come up against him in my playing days and there's never been any banter — I think he saves that for the media afterwards.During the game he is a respected figure in football and I look forward to facing him.

I've met Neil in the past and we have always got on well. Hopefully we will be on the same terms after 5pm tomorrow.'I always admire people who can work on low budgets and be really successful.I believe Crystal Palace will come alive sooner rather than later and that they will be force in the division again.Crystal Palace is going to be a tough test for us, similar to Charlton on the opening day."

Vital Swansea will be running a match updates service tomorrow afternoon with the chance to chat with fellow Swansea fans as Martinez's men look to get into the play off places.
