Pratley: Unfazed By Crystal Palace Test

Swansea City midfielder Darren Pratley is hoping the Swans can continue the good run of form that has seen Roberto Martinez's side go on a five match unbeaten run.

Wins against Nottingham Forest, Hull City and Plymouth Argyle mixed with a performance that deserved more than a draw against Sheffield Wednesday there has been room for quiet optimism in the Swansea camp.It may seem early to call where the Liberty Stadium club will end up come May the influential midfielder does not seem to be fazed by the challenges posed by ex premiership clubs. It will be one of those former premier league sides that Swansea will have to overcome this weekend when the Swans face promotion candidates Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park. Neil Warnock's side have had the worst possible start to the season and have lost four on the bounce and only narrowly scraped a win against Hereford in the first round of the Carling Cup on the 12th August.

Pratley told The SWEP:

"It's early days yet, but it looks like we will be okay in this league if we carry on playing the way we have so far.Palace have some good young players and were a Premier League team not long ago, but I think we are quite good on the road and hopefully we can keep our good start going."

There will be no ticket sales for the Cardiff City Carling Cup clash today due to the Ospreys playing the Cardiff Blues this evening.

No need to be worried about the Palace trip - we can win this.

i don't think we have anyone to fear in this league, we definitely have the skill and overall ability to match teams in this league, its scoring goals which seems to be our problem at the moment.

awesome news, another quality player signs a long deal, who will be next?

Crystal Palace have a big reputation but so have half the teams in this league. We cant fearteams just because of their history.
