Bodde Nominated For Monthly Award

Swansea City midfielder Ferrie Bodde has been nominated for the August Player of the Month in the Championship.

The Dutch midfielder will be competing for the prize along with Chris Iwelumo (Wolves), Richard Chaplow (Preston) and Sebastian Larsson (Birmingham).

Bodde, or 'Evil Genius' as he has been called by the fans has scored 2 goals this season. Putting us 2-1 in the lead against Nottingham Forest and scoring a 30-yard cracker to give us the lead against Sheffield Wednesday last weekend.

The winner will be announced on Sky Sports Big League Weekend 2 show on Monday 8th September at 6pm.

only nominated because of his 2 goals, 1 of them being a screamer. pratley has outperformed him so far this year.

Would have to agree Pratley has been superb.

I think Bodde has been way below the level he set himself last year. He will come good though. I think Pratley and Tommy Butler both deserve a mention.
