Sturrock Hails Swansea's Passing Abilities

Plymouth Argyle boss Paul Sturrock has pointed Swansea City's passing ability as our strength ahead of tomorrow's game at Home Park (5:20pm, Live on Sky Sports).

Sturrock admits Swansea City will cause his side all sorts of problems tomorrow if they fail to cope with our midfield's passing abilities.

Despite losing away at Charlton on the opening day of the season, the Swans dominated the midfield for long periods of the game but they didn't equal that quality in the final third.

There were no problems up front the following week though, as Leon Britton, Ferrie Bodde and Gorka Pintado all found the net to give us a 3-1 win at home to Nottingham Forest.

That victory is sure to give us a huge boost in confidence for tomorrow's game while Plymouth will be looking for their first 3 points of the season.

Sturrock said:

'They pass the ball to death.

'If we don't handle that they will run over the top of us.

They have got some good players and I expect them to be in this league at the end of the season.'

i hope they dont try to kick us all over the park, and if they do i hope the ref is on his game. with a bit of luck they wont be able to contain us and i think he is right in the fact we have the ability to overrun them

Its not the passing which causes teams the problem, its our movement. Midfielders making forward runs and overlaping full backs. Without either then there would be no one to pass too. We are coming to get you Plymouth.

I just hope we'll be able to cope with their physical approach and won't pick up more injuries.

The ref needs to be on his game if that's their main tactic today. i just hope we do ourselves justice on sky sports.
