Bessone Set For Early Return From Injury

Swansea City have received another injury boost this week with the news that defender Fedo Bessone is set to return earlier than expected.

The Spaniard broke a rib during a Carling Cup game against Brentford and was set for a 6-week period on the sidelines.

However, the full back is recovering quicker than expected and could return in mid-September.

Roberto Martinez told the Western Mail:

"Fede should be available quicker than expected, if he is back before the international weekend, that will be good news for everyone.'

The Swans were also boosted with the news that right back Angel Rangel is also fit and available for tomorrow's match away at Plymouth. The match is live on Sky Sports, and kicks off at 5:20pm.

That's great news. We need all players fit as soon as possible and for as long as possible.

He is gonna give Painter a real run for his position. Things are looking good.

great news, i was gutted for him as he had good reports for the brentford game and it was so early in the season to get an injury. i think he'll be good back up for painter and will compete well with him for that starting place.
